Perth beaches are seriously something else
Cottesloe Beach is just stunning. Clear water, white sand, and not overcrowded at all. Perfect place to switch off for a few days. The sunsets there are unreal.
Great city, easy to get around
Northbridge had so many good food spots and the streets were lively without being overwhelming. People were genuinely friendly and helpful. Felt really safe walking around too. Solid city break overall.
Loved every bit of the Swan River area
Cycling along the Swan River was a highlight for sure. The city skyline from the waterfront looks amazing and there is loads to do nearby without having to travel far. Really clean and well-kept city.
Fresh seafood and sunny days - what more do you need
Fremantle Markets had the freshest fish and chips I have had in a long time. The whole Fremantle area has a relaxed feel that just pulls you in. Great coffee culture too. Came for the weather and stayed for the food.
Kings Park blew me away
Did not expect a city park to be that impressive. Kings Park is massive with incredible views over the city and the river. The wildflowers were blooming and it was genuinely beautiful. Very easy to spend hours there.
Perfect summer escape
The weather in Perth in December is just brilliant. Beaches, outdoor bars, fresh local produce at the markets - it all comes together really well. Scarborough Beach was my favourite spot. Relaxed and fun without being too rowdy.
